I use outlook express for my default email. I installed ms office a week ago with the "complete install" setting. It installed ms outlook which is fine, but I couldn't figure out how to specify which email addy to send with, so I uninstalled ms outlook. I don't need all that garbage anyway. Now I can't email through links like on a site or craigslist. I get the "the default email clien is not setup properly" error. How do I fix this? It shows no email client in iex7 tools> programs, so how do I get it back?

I still can't get it to work.
I've even tried to reinstall outlook express with the xp disc and it still won't work.
I made sure to click the "make defaut" and it still wont work.
Just before I did that, I tried to click an email link in a website and all I got was the click sound, after I made it the default email client, I get the error message.
I go back and the default button is lit up again, click it again, apply, ok, still won't work.

No one knows what to do?

Nightowl Did you check the Microsoft support wed site?
http://www.support.microsoft.com
They have Outlook 2007 Listed on the left hand side of the page , click it on and you will see there list of things that may give you an answer to your problem.
