Default Mail prob'

I'm having problems when trying to email direct from websites. When I do the following message shows, 'Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed'
What's wrong and what do I need to do to fix this?

I am not sure you can configure Hotmail and Yahoo as a default client unless they are the paid versions. I would think the BT would have an email client installed along with it but am not familiar with it.

You will need to use gmail or another 3rd party client to get it set as the default email client.

Try this.

This guide will instruct you on how to change your default email client.

1) The settings are located in Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Set Programs Access and Defaults>Custom

2) Click the arrows pointing down to expand the Custom entry.

3) The email programs you have installed on your computer should be listed here. Place a check next to your preferred email client.

4) Press the OK button.

5) Exit the Control Panel.

I wish there was more, but that's it. Enjoy.
