Mozilla have released Thunderbird 2 today.

Looks good, apparently it a better interface and some additional features such as advanced search and email tags together with much better security.

I used it for a while then went with another I am going to have to test drive this version.

Thats interesting i to have used Thunderbird in the past in conjunction with Firefox, i think i may be tempted, and i do like temptation ! :D

For anyone unsure of what Thunderbird is, its basically a look alike of Outlook Express only prettier.
Personally I never use POP3 mail clients as I prefer web based mail such as Yahoo or Mail.com.

I'm complete opposite mate, can't stand web-mail.

Well I used in many years back but I am stick with my Opera since they lunched 7.23 version. Opera is one of the best for me.:)

Thunderbird is a good email client. Windows Live Mail is also good. Unless one is always connected to the client and checks mail when online which client is being used does hardly matter.

I think we have crossed wires here Rohit, Dave was talking about an email client and not a web browser.
