Default Mozilla releases Thunderbird 2

Mozilla have released Thunderbird 2 today.

Looks good, apparently it a better interface and some additional features such as advanced search and email tags together with much better security.

For anyone unsure of what Thunderbird is, its basically a look alike of Outlook Express only prettier.
Personally I never use POP3 mail clients as I prefer web based mail such as Yahoo or Mail.com.

I'm currently using Thunderbird and like it pretty much. Thanks for the information that there's a new version. I'll have to go download it.

Thunderbird is a good email client. Windows Live Mail is also good. Unless one is always connected to the client and checks mail when online which client is being used does hardly matter.

I think we have crossed wires here Rohit, Dave was talking about an email client and not a web browser.
