G'day clever people
I have outlook 2003 installed and am using Vista 32. Until recently it was possible to open a web link on a received email opened using a kosher copy of Office 2003. For some reason it now says when attempting this "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator". I have Norton 360 installed and this set up has previously worked just fine. I have been pulling my hair out a bot of late and am sure it something simple I am missing. Anyone have a guiding light they can shine my way please? Thanks very much. |

Try setting up a new user account with administrator rights and see if that resolves it.

G'day
I had a eeling it may be due to user rights as I recall a similar thing when using XP. Just mada a new account with administrator rights and the problem remains for that account and the admin one. Thanks for responding - Have you any other suggestions please. Stewart |

Internet Explorer allows you to e-mail web links or web pages using Outlook, Outlook Express, or other Microsoft supported e-mail programs. If this is not working, it is most likely because of a problem where Internet Explorer does not know which e-mail program to call when handling e-mails. i HAD THE SAME PROBLEM IN OUTLOOK 2003 JUST INSTALLED. THE FOLLOWING RESOLVED IT.
