If I send a email to myself it won't come until I hit s/r button anyone know what could be wrong is it a setting or something else. Please help Rick

What you need to do is load OE, and go to Tools, Options.
Under The General tab, make sure that Send and Recive mesages at startup is ticked. You might also want to shorten the interval at which OE check for new messages.

You'd want to set that to Connect Even When Working Offline.
You only need this if you have a dial-up connection.
