Default Outlook Express / Problems

This link should help with setting up Gmail in Outlook Express.

As for Hotmail, I dont think you can access Free accounts any more in Outlook Express.

Hotmail does not support 3rd party clients and hasn't for years.

Indeed hotmail does not support 3rd party clients anymore.

I think you may be able to pay and get some setting from them though - NOT SURE THOUGH!!!!

So out of curousity why does Express not give you this ability?

This is going to be such a pain updaing everything to my gmail account. But then again I guess I can forward everything to it.

Forwarding could take ages if you have lots of mail, could you not just copy the messages to a memory stick then import them into either outlook our outlook express when your g-mail account is setup within them?
