 Problem Downloading MSN Messenger For Mac

Ok, I am as well having a problem downloading MSN Messenger.. However, I have a Mac version. I found it online 3.5 it dl'd fine, but then it says i need the updated version in order to run it. but it dl's as a .bin file... If anyone is familiar ...

Problem Downloading MSN Messenger For Mac
Ok, I am as well having a problem downloading MSN Messenger.. However, I have a Mac version. I found it online 3.5 it dl'd fine, but then it says i need the updated version in order to run it. but it dl's as a .bin file... If anyone is familiar with Mac's, could you please inform me on how to open a bin file?! when i click it, it only makes a copy. I've heard something about having to burn to cd or something in order to get the file... any help?

Welcome to the forums, a Mac version is no good for PC, are you downloading from the Microsoft website, what error messages are you getting if it will not download.

thanks. Oh, this i know. I have a mac i'm downloading to.. i went to the site and found the mac version 3.5... when i dl it, it tells me i need to get the updated version. i dl that. now i have a file on my desktop that i don't know how to open. it's a .bin file. this is where my update is and i cannot use the messenger until i can figure out how to open it. i am dl from the microsoft website.

works perfectly!! Thank you. I saw this, however the way it was worded I thought it was for Mac os 7. I didn't think i could use it since i have os x.
