Do you know what this is? O4 - Global Startup: ctkey.lnk = C:\CtKey\ctkey.exe

Have you downloaded anything in FF or IE lately?

DONT REMEMBER such updates of FF or IE exactly
had some problems with FF update recently but was solved when i contacted FF help by un checking FF from kaspersky firewall
but even after that yahoo was working fine
it was last week onwards yahoo got trouble
google talk problem followed days after
i have no errors or no problem in using IE even now........any scope ?

Yes I was aware it is a keylogger just didn't know if it was you who had installed it.

dude the funny thing is that ccleaner or your uninstaller does not list ctkey in their list 2 uninstall..so i tried uninstalling with de uninstall icon there in its folder -some dos programme but even after tat de folder has all its contents intact !!
i have also removed it from TRUSTED ZONE in kaspersky !
should i delete the folder in c drive ?

I will have to look into how to remove it. That is the problem with keyloggers. Once they are there they are hard to get rid of.

I am not so sure this is your problem since you are the one who installed it.

I am wondering if the IM programs are flash based and if maybe checking that your flash is updated might help.

my java is upto date.....wat do u mean by flash ?
