Default Setting Up Outlook - Demon Internet ISP

ive got a mate who wants to use outlook as his email client and his ISP is demon and i could only find outlook express settings on demons website, does that mean only outlook express can work with it or can outlook 03 or 07 work aswell http://www.demon.net/helpdesk/produc...tlook_express/...

Outlook will work too, just put the ISP settings in. POP addresses, user names, passwords etc.

i went round mates house today and couldnt get it to work i did in the end but i dont know how basically

say for example his email address is "username@hostname.demon.co.uk" were it says logon information and in the username field do you type his full email address or what???. Once all that page is filled in then you click on more settings then on the outgoing server tab and were it says username does it mean the email address???

Depends on the ISP, Demon will give full info on request or on their website.

i normally enter there email address in the username field

Email Addy is your FULL email addy
incoming mail server is pop3.demon.co.or com which ever it is
Outgoing mail server is smtp.demon. co or com which ever it is
User name is your email addy without @???????
Password is the password set up when you opened the account
I dont know how demon work you might have to phone them for further information
