Default Signing in problems with messenger.

Hello. Recently (as in today) I have had a problem with some of my messengers.

Windows Live Messenger says that signing in failed because the servace is temporarily unavailable. But I can log onto the Web Messenger perfectly fine. Even when I use a diffrent email adress the windows live wont work. A friend suggested Trillian but that wont sign onto MSN or AIM but still connects to Yahoo fine.

Judging by the fact that web messenger works and theres plenty of people online when I sign in I can assume that the servace is NOT temporarily unavilable so... can anyone explain to me just what is going on?

incase it helps the error code is 8100030d

Default Signing in problems with messenger.

It's a common problem, give it 24hrs and it should be fine.

MSN Messenger is a free service and thus has sign in problems fairly regularly.

Default Signing in problems with messenger.

No, it's a server issue so the web messenger is a completely different entity as are different accounts as they may be on a different server too.

Default Signing in problems with messenger.

check to see if your time/date settings are correct, if they're not messenger won't sign you in
