A cousin is having serious problems with spam. He is on Tiscalli dial up. There is so much spam that his EMails take ages to come through. What should I be looking for to try to solve his problem? I have not had a problem with spam myself so I don't know the remedies.

Not much he can do, its not much different from someone putting flyer's through your front door.

Software is available but more often then not it filters out all your good email in the process.

I use outlook 2007 which has a fairly good in built junk filter, but the emails are still downloaded to my PC, they just go to a separate folder and I still find myself going through them picking all my good emails out.

Change email and protect it better is the only real solution.
