Default thunderbird noobie

ok so i just am starting to use thunderbird and i have no idea how to set it i have insight broadband internet if that helps like i want to use my hotamil and yahoo accounts but i have no idea wut the setup wizard is asking me. Idk like it says wrong host wut should i choose like the pop or imap thing idk anything about those i wish that it was alot easier to setup cause this is kinda a pain in the butt

You cannot use a hotmail account with a 3rd party email client.

Pretty sure yahoo is the same.

They want you to visit their website to login to your email as they earn through advertising.
