Default Why Can I Send but Not Receive E-mails

Hi, can anyone help please. For the past few days my Outlook Express will send e-mails but not receive them. The other e-mail accounts are working fine but not mine. I have tried deleting the account then putting back on but it still won't work. Anyone got any ideas. Thanks....

Who do you get your email through? They may have a server down or may have changed something their end. Maybe try calling them.

Hi Hybr!d, thanks for quick reply. I get my internet through the Post Office. Everything else is working fine including e-mails going into the other accounts in Outlook Express. It is just my one that won't work.

Yes and nothing wrong with them. I looked at the settings and everything looks the same.

Well, the post office is big, not all email accounts go through the same server.

Can you log into the accounts webmail? That would confirm the account is live and username/passwords are correct.

If you are 100% about the settings then I would call them, not much else you can do.

This is a common fault and normally an issue their end that resolves in 24-48 hrs.

Default Why Can I Send but Not Receive E-mails

Hi Hybr!d, I have now managed to get into my post office account on their website and check my e-mails there. From that I turned on Outlook Express and now it has decided to work. Don't know how but it is working at the moment. Thanks for your help. Shed
