Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator can't open

Hi,
I have recent problems with Photoshop and Illustrator CS3. When I open Photoshop, the error sending window appears. When I click to see what the report contains, it says
AppName: photoshop.exe
AppVer.10.0.0.0
ModName: adobeowl.dll
Modver: 1.0.92.0
Offset: 00069b7d
I've heard of similar problems where it is a mod and you can delete the file and it might work. So I moved it somewhere else, but then it said 'Could not find AdobeOwl.dll. Reinstalling may fix' etc. So I put the file back. The error comes up everytime.
With Illustrator, an error message also comes up, but it's not a Windows one. It says:
Missing required plugins, BRS pencil Tool, ExpandS, Pathfinder Suite.
I've tried reinstalling both programs but it still doesn't work. There isn't any problem with other adobe stuff so far, it is just these. I have done a virus scan with SuperAntiSpyware, MalwarebytesAntiMalwar, Adaware 2008, Sybot S&D and Eset Smart Security, all of them returning not viruses detected.
Help please?

i googles the error code and apparently this error is common but there is a solution. its some conflict with printer drivers so you need to set your default printer to any other printer, if you only have 1 printer installed you can set it to the adobe virtual printer by installing the pdf converter i think.

Wait, so you're saying I need to change my default printer to another printer? I only have one and you said I can set it to the Adobe virtual printer by installing PDF converter. Where can I get PDF Converter? Googling came with lots of results, none of them programs, just online converters.

oh well just for simplisity and it see if this actually works delete your primary printer and then try photoshop.

Default printer was deleted and it still doesn't work.

I uninstalled both a few weeks ago, and reinstalled today, and it worked!!!! I don't know how, but it just did... Reinstalling didn't work before, but it did now. I'm so happy
