I have re-configured my PC with 2x Hard drives. Since then, when I open Burning Studio, I get the message "enumerating drives", it takes a long time. I am assuming it's some thing to do with the drives. They are both SATA, in non-RAID, as far as I know.

Do you really think I'm stupid enough not to have done this? I am asking for a way to resolve a problem, not how to install a program

Well you are NEW member here, so we have no way of knowing whether you are knowledgeable or not, so we have to start somewhere and the suggestion I made was quite valid.

One thing is clear though .... with an attitude like yours, you probably wont find many here wanting to help you.

If this is the level of help, I don't see any point of the site. With the level of information I gave, a certain level of knowledge should be assumed. It is obvious that if after re-loading a program it does not work, remove it, re-boot, re-load. This is I thought a COMPUTER site, not a site for people that do not even know how to switch one off. Do not bother to reply.

A bit of unpleasantness further up this thread.

However, the "Enumerating Drives" problem is also on that I have encountered.

I had a new PC some months ago. I tried to install Burning Studio. THen on trying to use it I too had this Enumerating drives message displayed. The display would not go away even when trying Task Manager. A restart was necessary.

Since then I have of course uninstalled the version that was on my previous PC, reinstalled, uninstalled then tried different versions of Burning studio all without effect.

My PC has 2 hard drives and also 4 built in card readers. It is also running on a network.

Does anyone have any helpful ideas - Ashampoo do not as I have asked them.
