I have downloaded some .avi files.

At work I play them and only get sound but at home I don't play them. I have the latest version and no updated are available. I have tried using videolan but get told the files are broken. klcodec doesn't help either.

I tried burning them to dvd with nero but they can't be added.

Is there a problem with the file or my media players?

Hi.

I don't doubt your honesty in this matter, and I'm sure you've read the forum rules regarding peer2peer and torrents.

That being so I'm sure you understand that any advice we give you could be used by less scrupulous people than yourself who do download illegal content (as most .avi files are compressed copyrighted video content uploaded onto p2p sites).

Therefore I have to close this thread.
