Cant listen to mp3 files

Hello all,

I cant listen to downloaded mp3 files. When i play them i only once hear some scratching sound.
I use WMP that works fine at other things.
Do you know what the problem may be?

Cant listen to mp3 files

From a language learning forum site where native speakers can upload samples, e.g. an Englishman pronouncing Middelsborough, Gloucester, or anything...

Which version of wmp are you using?
If your using wmp11 open it up and click on library tab of WM player11 click on the more options tab. and it will bring up a new window with more tabs. On that page is File Types.click on this to check to see if mp3 is ticked.
