hello folks . right iv a new computer .with vista premium home . last comp was xp media edition .down loaded a film and it wont play says error has to close .windows media player . a similar program on the other comp xp ,from the same site would play . had nero premium 7 on that . have nero on this now to .still wont play connected my external hard drive they wont play . they did before . thats the movies stored on their . for example on the ex hard drive all the folders have changed from the nero gold disc to avi ones . hope that is clear . thanks dave

I'm assuming you've the same codec's (Avi. Divx. etc) loaded onto the pc that you had on the XP pc?

Also, that they're compatible with Vista?

Where did you download the film from?

Top of the range means nothing, you may still need additional bits and pieces to get what you want from it.
