| Hi - can you help? I am trying to wite to CDs using the inbuilt HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4481B burner which came with my Dell computer. Windows XP. Following the wizard I reach a stage which says insert a disc. Problem is I have already done so. The computer doesn't seem to be recognising the CD-R discs I am using. Strange thing is that I can add files to discs I wrote to previously. Please keep responses simple as I am not too computer literate - just want to copy my photos to discs! Thanks |

| Thanks Dave but that's not the answer. The wizard still fails to recognize the disc. I'm using Panasonic CD-R (not cheap ones). Any more ideas?? Cheers Helenw |

| It doesn't matter if the media is cheap or not helen. There could be many reasons for the failure. I'm assuming you've tried more than one blank disc?
