i am running windows vista, and i have just started having this issue:

when i put any type of media/movie/cd into either of my DVD BURNERS, what ever program i have open, nothing will respond at all....i get a message that says "windows explorer not responding".....until i eject the disc, then the programs respond.

However, if i try to burn a video_ts file that i have on my hard drive it will burn with no problem.

I first started having problems with CD's......when i rip the audio is skipping/very very bad......Also when i try to import tracks into Itunes, Itunes says importing but the drive is not flashing at all. Then after import i see the track in playlist with the time 00:00:00.

i have updated the firmware, and drivers still the same........i have even gone as far as opening the pc, and unplugging the drives and rebooting........same problem.

i find it hard to believe that both of my burners have died at the same time.

ANY HELP OUT THERE???
