Default Changing Gimps StartUp/Boot Image.

Hey all,
When you start up Gimp, depending on the version you're using you will most likely see this image known as 'Gimp-Splash'
or the image you first see when starting up Gimp. The image may differ when using older/new versions of Gimp this image is from Gimp 2.4.-

I'm going to guide you through changing this image to what ever you like.

1 Start.
2 My computer.
3 Local disk (C:)
4 Program files.
5 GIMP-2.0
6 Share.
7 Gimp
8 '2.0'
9 Images.

And then right click and open 'Gimp-Splash' with Gimp and replace or edit the image as you please, keep the final image dimensions 300x400 and 'Save' not save as. Close and restart Gimp and your start up image should now be set to the image you just created.

My current Gimp start up image:
