I have been having problems with my laptop since last sunday, ever since then my sound files have been very choppy and it is affecting the video play as well. I have uninstalled all the files that i installed just before it happend. Just before it happend i lost all sound and had to reboot. since then i have had the problem, it only does it when my computer C drive is running. is there anything simple i can try to correct this problem?

Sorry to hijack a thread, but I'm having the exact same problem. As far as I know all drivers are up to date.

Any ideas?
