Default DAA Files?

Hi everyone,

Hope this is a relevant question and in the correct forum.

I recently downloaded some audio files and once loaded they were DAA Files. I have never heard of this format and am dubious about trying to convert them as I am unsure as to what they are or what to do with them.

Any suggestions or advice would be gratefully received,

I remember reading somewhere that .daa is an iso format. You could try using poweriso.

Default DAA Files?

Hi Dave, they were downloaded audio files from a friends computer. The files are of lecture notes but I expected them to be in a media format so I could listen to them over media player or something.

Coolyx I was led to believe that there is an ISO linke as you indeed mentioned so I could pursue that avenue.

I think they are poweriso only iso files, so you will need power iso, then open the iso and burn to Cd to reveal the individual files in wav or mp3 format.

Yeah, .DAA files are versions of ISO files, opening them in an ISO viewer such as PowerISO or MagicISO will allow you to see the contained files, double click it in MagicISO and it should play. From the Wikipedia site of lies I found it to be the same as a zipped ISO file. Not sure why it was invented..
