Hi guys
I have a couple of questions. My Mum's birthday is coming up soon and we have some people coming round. I'd like to make a DVD of photos of her (jpegs) with captions, that can play while people are around. I'm just wondering if there are any suggestions as to how to do this? Also, I was sent some pictures to include in this, all of which are in the same word file. I only have open office and I seem to be unable to save the photos, so I'm not sure how to make these normal jpeg files and include them with the rest of the photos. Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks |

Well you could try copying the pictures from the work document and paste into paint, or the equivilent depending on your OS,then save as a jpeg. And as for the actual DVD, if you are on Windows, you could try using windows movie maker, I think that has the ability to insert still pictures, and you can add captions to that.

You can use Nero to do this, its a 15day trial so you should have plenty of time to prepare the slideshow

Windows movie maker would allow you to do this nicely, with some nice transitions between pics as well.
Add some music too should the mood take you.
