Hi,
I recently found out that my Finale 2007 has no sound. Everything else works, like music, games, movies. They all have sound, but Finale doesn't. All the items in Volume Control are up full, and there still isn't any sound from Finale. Is there something I have to configure?
Thanks.

In the options there may be an option to choose a sound card, I know in my production software (fruity loops) there is the option to pick any onboard and PCI sound card as well as blank options. Maybe it changed by accident.

There's no option to set the sound in the options. The only part where there are options is editing where it saves, opens etc...

What is in program options? I know this is 2009 but 2007 must have some options to setup the hardware.

In program options, there is a bar to the left with these:
New
Open
Save
View
Edit
Folders
Display Colours
Palettes and Backgrounds
There's nothing about sound in any of them...

As it is isolated to just this program I would try sending their support an email, not sure what else to suggest.

I was fiddling around trying to find more options, and I found it. It was in MIDI setup. It was set to SmartMusic SoftSync 1, so I changed it to Default MIDI Output Device. Thanks anyway.
