I just built my computer about a month ago and this is the only problem I'm having on it.
When I'm watching videos on sites other than youtube, after around 5-10 minutes of the same/different videos, I get a black screen. I can see the cursor, and when I move it and wait the cursor will show up where I moved it but I cant actually see it moving. I'm running windows 7 on firefox 64 bit(?), so I think that might have something to do with it. |

The mouse things odd, but it could be dodgy or conflicting codecs.

Try uninstalling all of them, and then just installing the DivX bundle, or one of various all in one packages, ticking every option. That way you know nothing is conflicting with each other. My System: FordyPC

Something I forgot to mention is that this only happens when I go fullscreen.
And the cursor, it seems as though even though things kinda freeze and I get a black screen, I can still move the mouse on the black screen, but it lags so much that I don't see the actual movement. As for java, I don't think i've been able to work it on firefox for windows vista or 7. When I am asked to install the missing plugin, it doesn't install anything. And on this computer (windows 7) I looked around for a java but only found other threads of people asking, so I just installed java to explorer. |

Maybe because you're running in x64?
If so open the 32-bit version of IE, and install any missing plug-ins, it should work then. |

Well I have Firefox(I'm not sure if it's 64 bit or what) which I normally use and have been getting the problem, Firefox (safe mode) which I've never used, IE, and IE 64 bit.
I don't like IE a lot, but i'll try it and see if i get any problems. Not sure what safe mode is exactly, but I could also try it. |

Firefox havn't officially released a 64 bit version.
However, other than for flash requiring needs, I would fully reccommend Minefield, which adds on to FF, and enables you to use FF in 64 bit, threaded and everything. |
