what i am trying to do is make individual frames of a .gif animated picture. how to i get the animated pic into individual frames using gimp?

ok, i can see the individual frames, but how do i save them all to a folder as individual frames?

Select one layer at a time, Ctrl+C, open paint and Ctrl+V and save. I don't think there's an option to do it all at once.
