$29 IS expensive compared to $free,,, especially as this person will probably only ever use $2 of it

I use Free Video Converter. It works extremely well for me. If you want to convert quickly turn off the video preview function.

Obviously its free. You can download it here. Just look for the one labeled Free Video Converter 2.0.

It depends on what you are going to play it in. Some formats are media player specific.

No it isn't free. Free download and free software are two different things.

Each licence includes unlimited updates and no time limitations. Don't need to pay again to get the latest version !
