Hi all,
Decided to dump my old 21' crt tv in my bedroom as it had started to play up (you had to hit it to turn it on lol). Now as i have a pc up here with a 22'' tft connected to it i thought id see if i could connect my sky to it and use it as a tv aswell thought saves me money in my hard times of late, my pc has a old hauppauge 878 (61205) tv tuner card installed as this is what i use to convert my Hi8 cam tapes to dvd and works well picutes very clear, so got me thinkin why not connect from the sky box to my pc and it should work right. Nope just get a blue screen. So i connected it to my compsite out on my dvd player and it works fine. So heres my question, why is it working with my camcorder and my dvd player but not my sky box/set top box? I tried it in both scarts tv and vid out, also tried 3 scart to phono adapters stll nothing. I have a philips set top box which i connected up as well just to see if that works and that displays only a blue screen to.
I currantly use the wintv 2000 app to view video from the card.
