Default Help in looking at video's transfered from standard camera

Hi everybody, can someone help me. I have a standard camera Kodak Easy Share C330. When i used to transfer pics and videos on XP the quality of the pics was great and vidoe's good as well.

Now that I have bought a new computer with vista at first once transfered over i could see the pics but not the vidoes? So I was advised need software to play the videos. Searching on the net I found a free download called VLC Media Player ( with an orange cone). It does now play the videos but there is no sound. Also the quality is really fuzzy.

When i had XP the standard windows media player did the trick andte quality was good. Can some help of where i can download some good software for this task.

Apprecaite your help.

Ash

Default Help in looking at video's transfered from standard camera

Hi

Did the camera come with a disk with software on it? It could be that the video needs a codec that comes on the disk, if you install the software it may solve the problem.

Hope this helps.

Many Thanks

Leo

It seems that vista is laughing at your cam drivers, without the disk i think you might have to stick with the vlc, but have a look around for possible codecs.
