Hey,

I just bought a 1650x pro Radeon graphics card and im trying to install it. After downloading the newest drivers from ati and installing them.. i try to play games and it tells me fail to render. So... i ran dxdiag and i did the 3d test.. it comes up on all 3 tests Failed on stage 8. I tried to re-install directx and that didnt help. Previously i had a geforce-2 and i uninstalled the drivers.. but when i popped the ge-force back in.. i guess it still picked them up. So when i went to the device manager and tried to right click and uninstall, it tells me failed to uninstall because the item may be needed to boot the computer. I have tried all that i know to my knowledge, can anyone help me fix this problem? Or have any suggestions as to what i can do?

Thanks,
Konrad

I don't know if this would work for you but i had a lot of problems correctly installing drivers for my ATI Card, and it turns out that there was something wrong with my Windows OS. But then again, this probably won't work for you.
