Ok, a friend sent me some audio files with a .flac extension unrecognised by my system.
Is there an easy way to get an MP3 out of a FLAC file? Like 7Zip or WinRAR, anything I might have already? Because to be honest if I have to download something third party I can't be FLAC'ed. Thanks.

Urgh.
Ok well I can't be flac'd with it to be honest then. I'll email him back and tell him to send me some sensible files or sod off.

It's pretty easy if you use foobar2000: just select them all, right click, hit Convert, go through another dialog, and it will do batch convert them all while preserving tags and filenames.
