| I recently got a new webcam bought over the net, and when I went to install it, this box came up saying something like the product hasn't passed Windows testing or something, to verify that the product can run with Windows... I didn't really understand it much, even after visiting the website. I stopped the installation like it recommended (because it said that if I continued, there was a possibility it could cause problems with my PC :S), but I know my boyfriend installed it on his computer before sending it to me, and it worked fine, so is this 'setback' minor and nothing to worry about, or should I be concerned and do something about it? If I should do something about it, can you recommend what I do? I really have no direction with what I should do. Hope you can help, thanks. |

| Most drivers are not verified, it's nothing to worry about.

| Microsoft certification is a racket which allows M$ to charge vendors exorbitatnt amounts of $$$$ to test their drivers and hardware for compatibility with the latest flavour of Windoze. Many uncertified drivers work happily with Windoze and many more fail despite being certified.
