WMP is just as bad about DRM rights as iTunes is about trying to make users play what they purchase with only their software. It's a tug of war so to speak. Players like VLC take many of the frustrations out of playing music. It's worth a try.

I tricked WMP into letting me have the license, so now it works on Winamp as well. Thanks for the help though

Speaking of this type of thing... I have 2 or 3 songs I bought online about 4 years ago. Needless to say I have changed computers 3 times since and formated about twice as many times. I was sure I license backups (and thought they were), so was under the impression that al was okay. But after the first reformat on the old machine 4 years ago, I have not been able to play them and the company stopped selling music online about that same time and I have been stuck ever since.

Any help available for this?
