I've got a Packard Bell Imedia 2416 desktop pc and need to find the network drivers for the Realtek RTL8101 network card installed so I can install Windows XP on my 2nd hard drive which I put in from my old computer. I know XP would work on my computer because XP was already installed on the old hard drive but I just couldn't register or activate XP because I got a message saying there wasn't an internet connection. But there is, so obviously that means I need network drivers for Windows XP.

Do you guys know where I can find them? Or have a link to them? I'm f**king sick of Vista because I can't use any of my old software and Internet Explorer keeps crashing at least 10 times a day. I'm brave enough to uninstall Vista totall just in case installing XP goes wrong so I wanna put it on my old hard drive again with a new OEM XP software i've bought.

Please help guys, because its making me so depressed.

How would I install the drivers before windows xp on my 2nd hard drive? Would I have to somehow integrate the network drivers into the windows xp install file?

Wait until XP's installed and then put the driver on. That's what people do with all the drivers which don't come on the XP CD. XP has a 30 day grace period for authenticating, it doesn't demand internet access before it finishes an installation.
