I recently purchased an Ipod and downloaded i tunes from apples website, after a very weeks i received a message that i would not be able to transfer music from a cd and that i would have to reinstall the software. when i tried to watch dvd's etc i noticed that my the drive was missing all together. i found fix on the microsoft website which i downloaded and installed. few days later the same thing happened again. i still can not get my dvd/cd drive back. any ideas and is this a common problem with itunes. is there any other software i can use to transfer music to my ipod or must it be itunes.
