Default making photo dvd

I have alot of pics stilll on my digicam memory card that I made a dvd from, coc it was first time and only time i did it lots of pics were sideways, so watching on my dvd was obviously not great as they were not right way up. I just sorted out pics on mem card so they are right way up and they are on my pc, i tried to make a dvd on to DVD+R disc but msg came up on my tv this cd can't be used in dvd. I know i have the right disc cos its from the same pack i used last time. I am not sure where i have gone wrong, also in Windows DVD maker on my pc its asking for file name i put in the tag name is that what is reuired or is it something else cos it says file not found.

I tried to burn dvd again and wil tell you exactly what i am doing .
I insert mem card into laptop then box on screen and i click view picture using windows. Then the windows photo gallery window opens and i then click on burn video dvd, then the first pic is dispalyed in another window then click on next and msg comes up : Error synchronizing project
The temporary directory is not accessible.

I am not able to select next pic is there a way of selecting them all in one go or do i need to do them one at a time? Theres about 600 pics! Need to sort out the error msg prob though first. Hope this is making sense.
