Default More itunes problems, any help?

Hi

Can someone help please!?

I am now getting the same message. itunes has been working perfectly from day 1 on my computer that had vista preinstalled, but now I get the dreaded 'i tunes not working' message.

I already had the Vista codecs pack installed, as per the sticky, and all was working fine. I installed 'AVI2DVD' the other day, and don't think I had tried itunes since today. I think this may have caused it!

I have unistalled 'AVI2DVD', tried to repair itunes. Then I unistalled itunes, downloaded the latestest version (i think I was one behind the latest), and reinstalled. This doesn't help. I then repaired itunes again from control panel and quicktime, still no joy.

I then removed the vista codec pack also, and reinstalled but still not working.

I think AVI2DVD may have had a load of stuff bundled with it, its the only thing that I can think of that will have caused this.

Can anyone help please??

Many thanks!

PS I have already tried reinstalling quicktime but still it won't run, so frustrating

Cheers

Remeber when you reistall you still leave the registry files behind which may be your problem and i would sugest deleting the AVI2DVD registry file and if that doesnt work unistall itunes then delete the registry file. I am really sorry if it is diferent on vista maybe when you reistall it deletes the registry file.
