Hi,

Recently my ipod nano (2nd gen) is no longer recognised by my compaq prescario laptop which runs vista.
Everytime i plug it in it says "USB device not recognised" and it does not appear under My Computer.
I can charge it on the laptop but not sync my songs.
I have tried everything on the Apple website but none of it will help.

Please help me!

Try completely removing iTunes and quicktime and re-installing.

Have you tried a different sync lead, it might just be a faulty lead??
