When I insert a DVD into my computer it loads up fine, however the picture is really fuzzy and looks pixelated.
My graphics card is the ATI 4870 512MB RAM. I recently bought a new monitor: IIyama ProLite E2209HDS. Is my monitor at fault or is it my graphics card? I can play games on it, they run fine, I just get this problem when watching a DVD. |

DVDs are standard resolution, your monitor is the equivalent of 1080P HD, it's going to look "fuzzy and pixelated" because it is blowing up the image to something like double its native resolution. If that is not the issue try installing CCCP.

Sounds like it could be codecs, try running it in VLC Player.
