Problems downloading Real Media with Flashget

I've been trying Flashget to download Real Media files and then converting them to MP3 with Jodix Free RM to MP3 Converter. The files I'm downloading are usually 30 mins long and I'm getting short patches where the sound is 'garbled'.
I'm told that this is where Flashget has stitched together the sections of the file it splits a download into.
Is there a solution?

What sort of music files are you downloading? If it is illegal music files I'm afraid you won't be getting any help here.

Who mentioned music, not me. Who are you trying to impress?

anotherbob, I was not trying to impress anyone with my reply, I merely slightly misread your post. The way you wrote it made it sound very similar to the large number of other posts we get that are about downloading illegally, but I apologise.

I have done some research about the issue you are experiencing but have not found anything. I noticed you posted on some other boards but no answers turned up their either.

This article is a little old but may be of some help

That article mentions SUPER encoding software. You may want to have a look at that and see if your current encoding software is causing the problems

That's OK. My response was somewhat hasty too.
Thanks for the links, I'll look into them.
