Default Problems with on-line video viewing HELP!!!!

Hi! I've just joined this forum, as I'm at my wits end. I'm not very computer literate, although I get by just fine on my PowerBook G4. I'm a teacher and I often download podcasts for class use. My school has just moved in new hi-tech premises where all the rooms are multi-media, so I thought I'd try to make optimal use of the facilities by showing short videos as well - 3-5 minute ones from news sites, etc, and then working with them. Anyway, I found this great video on the NY Times website. I just click on it on my Mac and no prob. Can enlatrge the screen etc. So, at school, where we have PCs (!!) I went to the same site but although the page comes up, the video doesn't play. I asked the useless IT man about it, but he wasn't helpful. Sorry for the long intro, but is there anyone out there who could PLEASE help me with the following: 1) Why won't the PC at school play this? What program needs to be installed to play NY Times videos (so I can tell the IT man) and 2) is there any way I can simply burn a copy of a NY Times video which I could then just play on the computer at school? I'd REALLY appreciate your input! Thanks a million!

Hi, a few more details would be useful, does it say it require any other software when you try to watch it and can I have a link to the video so I can see if it is downloadable so you can burn it

Hi! http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/30/ny...=1&oref=slogin That's the link to the site. If you scroll down, you'll see a video about Ukranian ladies. That's the one I want to copy onto a dvd and possibly view on whatever is the most common program a PC would have. If you can help me with this I'd be sooooo grateful!
Thanks a lot! When I tried it, there was no message at all. It just wouldn't show anything.
