Hi
I was wanting to know if it is possibel for me to make a copy of my dvd onto my hardrive. The reason for this is so I then can watch it on my laptop when ever i want.

I have managed to do this but all ?I have done is gone to "my computer" then on the dvd section copied and pasted it on a folder. This process takes about 5 min , but when I veiw it its all it chapters and 2 folders "video ts" and "audio ts".

I have been told there is another way of doing it but don't know how
thanks
tony

DVD's have all kinds of protection on them, to copy one to your HD will require some specialist software.

Honestly, it's easier to just put the DVD in play it.

yes I know you are probably right. But sometimes when friends lend me some it's nice to have them even as DATA on the harddrive just to watch it again on the laptop.

Funny enough I copied one dvd and it put it in a folder though it was in parts it was ok as I played in thorugh Windows media player and it continued it all the way.

You sure I can do this any other way mate
