When ever i try to install and update, or uninstall, or reinstall the software i get an error after the operation saying that an error has oocured and stuff....how can i fix this???

silly question but do you have a virus clean system, some viruses stop the instilaition on software and updates so you cant install antiviruses. also i need more info, send a screenshot of the error message and also what has quicktime got to do with it?

well, i dont have a virus, or spyware as i have Avast and Ad-Aware and have done scans recently. i will post s screen shot in a minute or 2
