Hi

I have the above and am having major problems with the DVD multi-writer. Each time I try and burn a DVD/CD I get an error half way through the copying procedure saying "Unexpected Error" and then I lose the drive from the list and have to re-boot the laptop. Any ideas what the problem is as this is starting to drive me crazy.

Hi

I bought it about 1 month ago. Think the laptop came out in October ish last year. It's running Windows Vista.

OK so it's doubtful it's faulty.

What software are you using for burning?

I'm using the built in windows software. I was thinking of installig Nero or something similar.

I would suggest doing that, just for a comparison.

Nero do a free trial on their website I think.

Let us know how you get on Jac.
