PC? I know that DivX has the ability to do this, but it always looks absolutely horrible when I try it. Anyone know of any good FREE PROGRAMS I could use to shrink my AVI files down, but keep good quality?-Touche'My computer does not have 'WIndows Movie Make'. Also, I'm talking about a 700mb AVI file. It's not gonna convert down to 4mb

Are you on XP? Go to start, all programs, Windows Movie Maker. It is pretty basic but good - I would "choose size" and make it about 4MB. Hope this helps....Let me know if you have any other questions

I read what the guy said, I just wanted to make sure I understood.
To me it sounds like he has a 700MB DivX file which as far as stats go isn't much info (run time, DivX version used, audio codec, bitrates, etc). Then the second part to me could've meant two things.
"Either I can't get it to convert down to 4MB" or "it's not like I want to convert it to 4MB".
i can't gauge how good the guys english is.
