Default Two screens in one?

Hi, I'm looking for some software that enables you to have a screen on the PC that projects what in that screen.

For example say, you were on your desktop, you could play a video, from that computer, being projected onto a wall, while you used the computer for something else.

When you connect the projector, it should ask you if you want to duplicate your desktop, or have two separate desktops.
In Display Settings (where you set the wallpaper, screensaver etc.), under the projector's properties, is the "Extend my desktop onto this monitor" checkbox checked?

If you have an Nvidia graphics card it comes with Nview software that is available via control panel.

You can set this up using that.
