I am using a netgear DG834GT wireless network on windows vista. I have just updated the router but did nothing. I am also using the latest version of windows media player. It tells me i'm not connected to the internet do i want to close or find help. After I press close and exit out of WMP i get another message telling me i'm not online when i am and do i want to connect or work offine.

might be a firewall conflict, try disabling the firewall and see if it works then

Disabled the firewall still does not work.

try installing the K-Lite Codec pack
