I'v recently installed windows media player 11 and when i put a dvd in to play i get a mesage on the screen saying "windows media player cannot play this dvd because a compatible dvd decoder is not installed" i am running windows xp, can you tell me what i need and where to get it, thanks.

Install K-Lite Codec Pack and see if that sorts it out.

cheers, the site is only a year old and was set up by local people for the local people but we now have members from all over the UK and have regular guests from all over the world.
