Hi,
Whenever I try to play a DVD in windows media player, I get an error message, which says that atidvcr.dll is causing the problem. I send the error report, and another message comes up and has a link for more information, which brings me to the microsoft site, with a solution which says it was caused by ATI Multimedia centre. I'm not sure how to fix this though. It doesn't say atidvcr.dll is missing, it just says that there was an error with it. Microsoft links me to here. I've clicked the ATI link there, but I think it's outdated, because it leads me to the support page, where I can't find anything to do with this. http://wer.microsoft.com/responses/R...e-b401941490ad Any ideas appreciated.

One of the posts there, about the filters being used, led me to the idea that I didn't have the right codecs. So I installed a codec pack and now it works!

I was going to suggest that but thought we had been through the codec thing before so figured you had one already.
